I finally made a new friend in class today!
(ok, i sounded so much like a 5-year-old kid)
When dad and mum came to pick me up after school, i told mum this .
Denise: "Mum, i made a new friend today leh!"
Mum: laughed .
Mum: "Really ah?!"
(okay mum, i know your daughter's a failure in making new friends for only like months later!)

Okay, this was how everything started when i got enrolled in SIM .
When i first attended my virgin lecture in SIM, every faces seemed unfamilar .
I sat at a corner, like a total anti-social girl .
I never felt that paranoid before about making new friends.
(when i was in poly, it took me just a few days to make new friends)
However, SIM just gave me that come-and-go-attitude i had towards the school .
Even till date, i don't really know the foodcourt's exact location .
Does it happened to all part-time student ?
OR IS IT ONLY ME ?
The come and go type .
Well .
It beats me .
Anyway, during my first lecture i spotted this girl .
I felt that she has this very unique hairstyle .
It somehow looked like a bob hairstyle, but those super short kind .
The length: right beneath the ear lobes with her ears tucking out between the hair .
I wanted to befriend her .
However, i forgo the idea because i had this mentality that it is NORMAL not to have any friend/friends in lecture for part-time student .
Therefore, i didn't went ahead to approach her .
But even if i were to, i think my actions would be labelled as so random and wierd .
However, today is the day when i made my first new friend .
(oops, but i didn't ask for her name yet!)
I remembered asking her a question that she was shocked by the way i asked .
Denise: Are you of the same age as me?!
New friend* stares awhile .
New friend: I'm 20 this year .
(damn! she might think that i'm order therefore she dare not say yah! we are of the same age!)
Denise: Ohhh, i'm 1988 one also .
Then the conversation went on and on .
I found out that she's also an engineering student .
Then i asked which degree she's choose, which poly she's was from and blah blah blah ...
She asked if i was working, why i choose part time instead ?
I told her because SIM could only offer me part time .
(oh well, lousy results)
She told me that we were in the same plight .
Then i told her, aiya cos our GPA lousy .
A few seconds later, i asked .
Denise: How much is your GPA huh ?
New friend: 3.46 with a small grin on her face .
Okay, wtf .

maybe the importance isn't there anymore .
